Scholz says he is ready to discuss Ukraine settlement with Putin
The head of the German government stressed the importance of holding a meeting with Russia's participation during the Bundestag session, TASS reports.
Scholz added that Germany is ready for negotiations with the Russian president, but cannot make any decisions "ever without the consent of our partners standing behind Ukraine."
German media previously reported that the prime minister planned to contact President Putin ahead of the G20 summit in Brazil.
