Near Novosibirsk, a bear that did not hibernate tore apart sheep
According to the local newspaper Pravda Severa, near the village of Voskresenka, a predator attacked a flock of sheep, killing six animals. Another seven sheep disappeared. Local residents assumed that they may have swum across the river to escape the bears.
The bear followed the animal tracks. According to local residents, its den could have been in the area of Lake Kryuchnoye.
There is no official comment from the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Novosibirsk Region yet.
Earlier, Sib.fm reported that a bear rescued in the Novosibirsk region was released into the forest.
