"Your daughter is in Saratov": scammers wrote to the parents of the missing Tsomartova about their daughter's location
An unknown person wrote to the parents of the missing 22-year-old Anya Tsomartova on social networks that they knew the whereabouts of their daughter. According to the girl, Anna is in a neighboring house in Saratov. For this information, the girl asked to transfer 300,000 rubles.
The girl's father, who was talking on the phone with a stranger, was preparing to hand over the money. He asked the girl to provide a photo or video to prove his words, but she refused. Then the man realized that she was a fraudster. It was confirmed that this was the phone number intended for the transfer. The name of the account created by the parent and the personal account are different.
The Tsomartovs posted information about the incident on their Telegram channel and asked to warn the girl who had the card that a fraudster was operating under her name. The girl herself appeared in the comments to the post and said that her bag with documents and cards had been stolen.
Other commentators asked the girl many questions about the fact that the stolen cards were not blocked. The phone number linked to the account on which the girl writes comments is also not blocked. The commentator also stated that the page written to Anya's parents on the social network is fake and does not belong to her. I learned about the post from a friend who sent me a link.
The subscribers did not believe the sudden appearance of the theft victim and began asking the police to send a mug or a photo with a statement. Diana herself spoke to the girl and asked if she had written a letter in the morning.
