Nvidia Increases Capitalization to $3.4 Trillion

Morgan Stanley analyst's bullish comments on the prospects of Blackwell's super-powerful AI processors are boosting the company's stock price.

Nvidia shares have reached an all-time high, increasing the company's capital to $3.4 trillion. As CNBC notes, the largest chip maker's share price rose 2.4% to $138 per share after an optimistic statement by a Morgan Stanley analyst about Blackwell's prospects for creating super-powerful processors for artificial intelligence.

However, NVIDIA has yet to regain its status as the largest company on the stock market. In June, it overtook Microsoft to take the top spot, and now Apple leads with a market capitalization of more than $3.5 trillion.

Nvidia shares have risen nearly 180% since the start of the year and have grown more than ninefold since the start of 2023. IT columnist for Rossiyskaya Gazeta Dmitry Bevza reports:

Financial experts at Barron's are confident that Nvidia will become the first company with a capitalization exceeding $4 trillion. They explain this by the fact that today American chip makers are the fastest growing companies in the world and leaders in the development of artificial intelligence. Both ChatGPT and OpenAI rely on the company's technology.

By comparison, Nvidia's stock went from $2 trillion to $3 trillion in just 90 days. Apple took 719 days and Microsoft 650 days.
