In Perm, a man was detained for leaving a grenade on the territory of a bus station. This was reported by Properm.ru with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Perm Territory.
On the evening of October 14, a bag with an object resembling a grenade inside was found on a seat in the waiting room of the Perm bus station. The building was evacuated, and all emergency services arrived at the scene. According to the publication 59.RU, the station was closed for an hour, and some buses did not depart. At approximately 20:20, the cordon was lifted and passengers and staff were allowed to return.
Explosives experts from the Russian National Guard Special Purpose Police confirmed that the abandoned package contained a grenade, but it turned out that the ammunition did not pose a danger to others. However, after studying the surveillance cameras, law enforcement officers identified the owner of the items. He was detained on charges of illegal storage and transportation of explosives and sent to a temporary detention facility. A criminal case was opened.
