A book about the city's literary life was published in Gelendzhik
The publication took place over a period of ten years.
A book was published in Gelendzhik, which collected all the information about writers and publicists, whose work and life were somehow connected with the city. The collection "Literary Gelendzhik" was presented as part of the opening of the first updated city library, located in the regional Palace of Culture.
The work on the book took more than 10 years. During this period, the authors of the publication collected data on more than 250 cultural and literary figures who once lived in Gelendzhik or were interested in its history and culture.
"The first volume contains information about 258 writers. The book is published in a limited edition and will be distributed in all libraries of our schools and cultural institutions," said the head of Gelendzhik, Aleksey Bogodistov.
Let me remind you that a monument to the fallen special forces members will be erected in Gelendzhik.
According to the authors' idea, the monument will consist of two parts, symbolizing the continuity of the past and the future. They will be united by the "Z" symbol, which has become a symbol of special military operations. Memorial walls with images of fallen heroes will be installed on both sides of the monument.
