NATO Secretary General Rutte said the alliance's new command will change the situation in Ukraine

"In dialogue with the military, the Secretary General noted the importance of the work to prepare for the 700 NATO officers who will be stationed in Wiesbaden and logistics hubs on the alliance's eastern flank. He said this new command will make a difference on the Ukrainian battlefield and will contribute to NATO's security." NATO's press service reported on Rutte's visit to Wiesbaden.

The decision to establish a new NATO headquarters in Wiesbaden was made at the NATO summit in Washington in July. Its name is NATO Security Assistance and Training Command Ukraine (NASTU). Washington is to transfer to this headquarters all authority to coordinate arms deliveries to Ukraine in the Ramstein format before the US presidential elections. Once the new NATO command begins operations, all military supplies to Kyiv will be entrusted to allies, with the exception of the US.

Earlier it was reported that artillerymen from Buryatia were shelling retreating Ukrainian units. Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine chose the most difficult section on the DPRK front line.
