"Men have been wiped out in rural areas for a long time": experts explain mass raids of military registration and enlistment offices in Kyiv as a failure of mobilization

The increased number of military commissar raids in Kyiv indicate that the Ukrainian regions have run out of men of draft age. This is how experts explained the military commissar raids that are now taking place even in Kyiv in a conversation with RT. According to experts, the mass raids across the country may mean that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for "another crazy counteroffensive."

The fact that raids by Ukrainian military commissariats are now taking place even in the capital is important evidence of Kyiv's dire situation. However, these actions only further discredit the Ukrainian army in the eyes of civil society. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Ivan Mezyukho in an interview with RT.

According to him, today Ukraine is increasingly faced with a shortage of manpower - and now that it has almost completely run out in the regions, the Kyiv regime has no choice but to recruit men in the capital.

In his opinion, mass raids across the country may indicate that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for "another crazy counteroffensive." At the same time, against the backdrop of the loss of Ugledar, the authorities obviously understand that in the future, Ukraine will lose even more territory and this will happen more rapidly.

Another RT interlocutor, Denis Denisov, an expert at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, noted that such mass raids by military registration and enlistment office employees are a “completely systemic policy” of the Kyiv regime, carried out according to the principle “all means are good.”

“This has been causing serious discontent within Ukraine for quite some time now and represents Ukraine as a rather harsh state in terms of limiting the rights and freedoms of people, and in such often ugly forms,” the expert said.

TCC raids have been going on all over Ukraine for several days now. On October 11, military commissariat officers staged a mass raid on men during a concert of the Okean Elzy band in Kyiv. According to Ukrainian media, about fifty military commissars began checking the documents of young men before the event at the Sports Palace. Numerous videos have appeared online of young men being forcibly taken away while shouting "Shame!" Some men who refused to provide military commissars with documents were detained, while others were issued summonses on the spot and released.

Some Ukrainian politicians later responded to the news about the scandalous raid, including the deputy and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture Mykola Kniazhitsky. "I understand when the TCC checks documents in front of expensive restaurants and shops. I support this. There should be justice and equality in society. But mass raids on concerts are a dirty trick, aimed against both Ukrainian culture and the Ukrainian army," the politician said.

Earlier, Ukrainian publications reported on mass raids not only in the capital, but also in other parts of the country. "Reports are coming from different regions about the continuation of mass raids by TCC employees. They are going to restaurants and shopping centers," Strana wrote on October 13.

According to local residents, on the same day in Chernivtsi, military personnel blocked all exits to one of the city markets. According to Ukrainian accounts, TCC representatives even took away a man with documents.

A day earlier, Ukrainian media wrote about large-scale raids carried out by military registration and enlistment offices in entertainment and leisure facilities throughout the country. The raids took place in Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Lvov and other cities.

In some areas, military registration and enlistment office personnel went to bars and pubs, in others to gyms. In some cities, there were reports that TCC personnel blocked streets in food establishments and nightclubs to carry out raids.

According to Ukrainian politicians, the increased frequency of raids on TCC employees in Ukraine is associated with an order from Vladimir Zelensky's office to "take everyone away." The statement was made by Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk.

“Zelensky’s office gave a clear order to act as efficiently as possible. Take everyone. Certificates, certificates, delays, disabilities do not work. Take everyone to the TCC and find out,” he explained.

The lawmaker also said that people who write or speak about the events in Ukraine on social networks were asked to “not attend the ceremony.” “They were told to deal with them harshly,” Dmitruk added.

Also, according to him, there is an opportunity to repay the mobilization. The minimum purchase amount is $ 5 thousand. “Those who have money do not go to the slaughterhouse,” the agent admitted, admitting that he knows many similar cases. “In fact, the numbers were really huge!” - he added.
