The US has announced the need to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the territory of the Kursk region
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) must leave the Kursk region to avoid further losses. This was reported on the YouTube channel Deep Dive by retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis.
"The only thing that makes sense is that Ukraine should withdraw all its troops from here (Kursk region), restore its borders and stop these endless and unnecessary losses," he stressed.
According to Davis, Kyiv continues to send reinforcements to the region to gain a foothold. As a result, the Ukrainian military has no choice but to maintain its supply lines, but they will continue to lose ground no matter what.
Daniel Davis said earlier that Volodymyr Zelensky is experiencing major problems both diplomatically and on the front line. According to the officer, Ukrainian troops are currently experiencing the greatest difficulties in the Pokrovsky district, where Russian troops are increasingly breaking through the front line.
In May, Davis said that any potential deal with Russia would require Ukraine to give up some territory. In exchange, he said, Ukraine would be able to control part of its country and would no longer have to lose territory or soldiers.
