Heating season officially starts in Saint Petersburg
The heating season begins in St. Petersburg today. Governor Alexander Beglov announced this in his traditional weekly address.
The city heat supply organization has switched to regular heat supply to houses and institutions. In case of absence of heat supply or need to adjust parameters, residents should contact the management company or call 004.
This year, heating engineers were tasked with replacing 280 kilometers of pipes. During temperature and hydraulic tests, specialists eliminated about 1,800 defects.
The number of sensors monitoring the serviceability of heating networks has also increased, allowing for the elimination of possible malfunctions before they develop into emergency situations.
He also stressed that the city is ready for the heating season. All resources and mechanisms are ready.
