A patient who attacked an ambulance crew and damaged their car was detained in St. Petersburg

Rosgvardia officers detained a drunk and aggressive man who beat up an ambulance driver and damaged a medical vehicle on Rusanovskaya Street in the Nevsky District of St. Petersburg.

According to the press service of the Russian National Guard for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, the medics initially arrived at the address after receiving a report of a man lying motionless on a lawn under a tree. When the team began examining him, he suddenly stood up and started fighting. He beat up the ambulance driver who was protecting a female doctor, tore his jacket and smashed his smartphone. The doctor's car was also damaged.

Russian security arrived on the scene and quickly dealt with the rioters. He was placed face down on the floor. The man was then taken to the police station, as he no longer required hospitalization.
