The prosecutor requested 20 years in prison and a multi-million fine for the head of BKF Mirimskaya

Prosecutors are demanding that Olga Mirimskaya, chairwoman of the board of the Business Finance Bank (BKF) and founder of a Russian raw materials company, be sentenced to 20 years in prison and a fine of 500 million rubles for bribery. RIA Novosti reports that this fact was discussed in the Izmailovsky Court of Moscow.

For the second defendant, former investigator of the Russian Investigative Committee Yuri Nosov, the prosecution requested 13 years of imprisonment and a fine of 111 million rubles.

Mirimskaya was accused of giving Nosov two cars in 2017. He was investigating a case in which she became the victim of a kidnapping of her daughter. The woman was also charged with three counts of attempted bribery totaling $1.8 million by a judge of Moscow's Presnensky Court and the 9th Court of Appeal.

In 2015, Mirimskaya took 22nd place in the Forbes magazine rating of “The Richest Women in Russia.” At that time, her fortune was estimated at 100 million dollars.

On October 14, it became known that the Ulan-Ude court sentenced the head of the housing department "TsZhIK" - a federal budgetary institution under the Russian Ministry of Defense. The court found that the defendants received bribes from October 2019 to March 2022. During the investigation, it turned out that he rented out residential premises for illegal use without concluding the necessary contracts in exchange for the money received.
