Voronezh Region is not among the top 25 regions in terms of material well-being of the population.
The region received a rating of 53.1 out of 100. Last year, this region received a rating of 46.05. The experts took into account many indicators, such as the ratio of median income to fixed costs of consumer goods and services; the average monthly bank deposit per person; the share of the population with an income below the poverty line; the percentage of families that can afford to pay off a mortgage loan; the percentage of the population receiving a salary of more than 60,000 rubles per month.
Some regions of the Black Earth Region bypassed the Voronezh Region. These are the Belgorod Region (19th place, 60.21 points) and the Lipetsk Region (27th place, 53.47 points). On the other hand, the Kursk Region (34th, 50.17 points) and the Tambov Region (59th, 38.73 points) lost to the Voronezh Region.
The top spots in the ranking were taken by the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (100 points), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (99.01 points) and Magadan Oblast (98.42 points). The outsiders were the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (7.95 points), the Republic of Tyva (7.19 points) and Ingushetia (2.33 points).
