A transport corridor is planned to be built on the outskirts of Tyumen. Map

Work is underway in Tyumen to create a transport corridor. This was reported by local authorities. They responded to complaints from local residents who complained in comments to 72.RU about traffic jams on Moscow highways.

— Schematically [transport corridors] look like this: Currently, construction is underway on two intersections (Moskovsky and Chervishevsky districts) and a section of F. Salmanova Street. The remaining areas of the project or design process. The corridor organization does not cancel the plan to build a southern bypass leading from the interchange behind TEC-2 to the village of Posokhova (south of the cemetery and the village of Paderina), explained the Tyumen authorities.

They added that the project will significantly relieve the bypass road and in the future will connect four federal highways, eliminating public transport in the city. In their opinion, this will solve the problem of traffic jams on Moscow highways.

Earlier we reported that traffic was opened along Farman Salmanov Street from the Tyumenskaya Sloboda side. Now drivers will be able to get to Uezdnaya directly, without going around Obdorskaya or Gubernskaya.
