Victim names possible cause of platform collapse during filming near Luga
The platform that collapsed during the filming of the movie "Vasily Terkin" near Luga could not support so many people. Alexandra Kuzmina, who was injured when the scenery collapsed, told 78.ru about this.
The day before, at one of the shooting ranges in the village of Tolmachevsky, where they were filming a movie based on the poem of the same name by Alexander Tvardovsky, a wooden platform, imitating the platform on which the crowd was standing, collapsed.
According to her, she is fine, she is not sick, she is being looked after in the hospital and they plan to go home in literally two days. The victim also reported that the director was nearby and wandered around the set.
The platform collapse injured 22 people, including 8 children aged 7 to 17. Most of the victims suffered bruises and abrasions. After receiving medical care, 21 patients were discharged in satisfactory condition and received outpatient treatment. One woman was hospitalized with moderate bilateral leg fractures.
