Alaudinov: Half of Kursk territory captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been liberated

Half of the territory of the Kursk region captured by Ukrainian troops has already been liberated from the occupiers. This was stated in an exclusive commentary to the Kursk GTRK by the commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov.

"Today we are already recording that about half of the territories occupied by the enemy have already been liberated," Apti Alaudinov said in a commentary to the Kursk State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. He posted the video on his Telegram channel.

Commander Akhmat compared the events in the Kursk region with the Kursk Bulge, a turning point in the Great Patriotic War. In this battle, the German army suffered heavy losses and lost the war. And after the invasion, the Ukrainian army also lost a large number of manpower and Western equipment, Alaudinov emphasized.

Ukrainian troops crossed the Russian border and entered the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. Since then, it has lost almost 23,000 soldiers, 157 tanks, 72 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armored personnel carriers and 917 armored personnel carriers.
