Ukrainian Investigators Check Hundreds of People for Involvement in Murder of Russophobic MP
After the Ukrainian special services reported that the murder of Rada deputy Iryna Farion had been solved, it became known that the arrested defendant might not be the only one to appear in court. This was reported by Ukrainian news outlets, citing court documents.
It turned out that the court was considering a report from an operative of the Main Directorate of the National Police from Lviv Oblast, whose search activity in the case revealed the involvement of "unidentified persons" in a high-profile murder case. The incident involved about 300 telephone subscribers. The Galitsky District Court of Lviv considered a petition to conduct an investigation and gave permission to study the telephone conversations of 291 subscribers.
