The prosecutor requested 3 years and 3 months in prison for Frenchman Laurent Vinatier*
At a hearing in the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow, prosecutors asked to sentence French citizen Laurent Vinatier* to three years and three months in a general regime penal colony for evading the duties of a foreign agent. This was reported by a REN TV correspondent in court.
The prosecution also asked the judge to consider the defendant as having admitted his guilt and shown remorse. French's lawyers, in turn, asked that the sentence be limited to a fine.
Recall that in September, Vinatier pleaded guilty in court to violating the foreign agent rule.
