Netanyahu vows to continue strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, including Beirut

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that Israel will continue to attack Shiite militant group Hezbollah strongholds across Lebanon, including Beirut. In a video message released from his office, the prime minister stressed that the fight against Hezbollah will be merciless.

Netanyahu noted that Israel is fighting an "axis of evil" led by Iran that seeks to destroy the Jewish state. He added that despite heavy losses, Israel is making significant progress in this confrontation.

Earlier, on October 13, the Israeli military reported a drone attack carried out from Lebanese territory by the armed organization Hezbollah. The attack targeted an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base near Binyamina, where soldiers of the elite Golani Brigade were being trained. As a result of the attack, four soldiers were killed and seven were seriously wounded.

Iran has reportedly threatened to attack a US ally if it attacks its territory.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Gallant was recorded threatening Iran with a deadly and unexpected response.
