On October 14, new personnel changes in the government of the Samara region became known. This was reported by Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

Maxim Kovalev previously worked in the law enforcement agencies of Crimea and was deputy governor of the Vologda region.

- Dmitry Nikolaevich Yakovlev has been appointed assistant to the governor for the development of professional sports and the creation of sports infrastructure facilities. His experience as the Minister of Sports and Professionalism will help us solve the problems we are facing," said Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

Dmitry Yakovlev previously held the post of Minister of Sports of the Tula Region. He became the fourth civil servant to move from the Tula Region to the Samara Region in the last five months. Previously, Anton Emelyanenko held the post of Deputy Governor for Economic Development, Investments, Industry, Trade, Agriculture, Food, Tourism and Science. Vyacheslav Romanov has been appointed Head of the Governor's Administration. Anastasia Sorokina works as the Governor's Assistant for Urban Development.
