The head of the Russian Human Rights Department, Tatyana Moskalkova, announced the reunification of Nizhny Novgorod families separated during special operations. She spoke about this in an interview with aif.ru.

According to the federal ombudsman, 48 families have already been reunited. The parents of one of them, an Odessa resident, were accused of espionage and separated. The girls and their cat were taken to the border of Ukraine and Moldova, where they stayed for five hours and then handed over to the officers. The children were transported to the Russian Federation via Armenia. The girls' parents remain in custody. Moskalkova noted that her unit has been struggling to be released for two years.
