Delicious aroma and crispy crust - how to make homemade bread

Do you remember as a child coming home from the store with a warm loaf of bread, eating half of it and breaking open the warm, crispy crust?

The bread that the author of the channel "Alenka Krasnodar" suggests making is exactly like this. It will not remain on the table.

To make delicious homemade bread, you will need 0.5 kg of flour, 2 teaspoons of dry yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 350 ml of warm water and a little more flour to sprinkle the surface of the table.

Let's start with this. In a convenient bowl, mix all the dry ingredients - flour, yeast, sugar and salt, add warm water and knead a homogeneous dough.

Place the result on the table and sprinkle with a little flour. You will need to knead the dough for about 15 minutes until it becomes elastic and soft and does not start to stick to your hands. You can add flour during this process.

Then you need to "rest" the dough. Return the dough to the container in which you initially kneaded it, cover with a clean dry towel and leave in a warm place for several hours. During the "cooling" time, the dough should double in size.

After a few hours, divide the dough into two parts and mold two loaves. Choose the shape according to your taste and skill. A slightly elongated shape, like store-bought bread, or a simple round shape will do. Place the future buns on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. If you leave the dough in this state for another 30 minutes, it will rise a second time.

Now you can bake. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the baking tray in it. Baking time is about 35 minutes. During this time, the bread should become golden brown and sound hollow when tapped from below. Take the finished bread out and let it cool.

Attracted by the amazing aroma, your loved ones will have to wait for the bread and, if they haven't eaten it before, cut it and serve it to you. It can be cooled completely or eaten warm.
