110 carriages of the Ivolga 4.0 train will enter service on the MCD by the end of the year
By the end of 2024, another 110 carriages of the Ivolga 4.0 train are planned to arrive at the MCD. The renewal of the rolling stock is planned to continue next year.
Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry: "Trains D1 and D2 were updated in the first year of operation, and now the main focus of the Central Suburban Passenger Company is on D3 and D4. Since the beginning of the year, 110 Ivolga cars have reached this diameter, and by the end of the year we expect that the same number of cars will reach this diameter."
Currently, more than 800 Ivolga train cars of different generations are in operation on all four diameters.
"Ivolgi 4.0" is the most modern Russian team. It is the first three-door city electric train. It offers wireless charging, electric scooter charging points, adaptive lighting and systems.
