Belousov arrived in Beijing for talks with Chinese military leadership
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov made an official visit to Beijing on Monday for talks with China's military and military-political leadership, the Russian military said.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the official welcoming ceremony for the Russian delegation took place at the building of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China in the presence of an honor guard and orchestra. Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun welcomed the Russian military commander-in-chief. The event ended with a ceremonial march of the honor guard. The Russian Defense Minister also laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes on Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
