Unknown persons have once again started burning tires in houses in St. Petersburg

Unknown persons set fire to a tire on the landing of a building on Budapest Street. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

On the night of October 13, three arsonists entered the front door. They threw a tire into the first-floor door, doused it with flammable liquid, and set it on fire. When residents smelled the burning and called the fire department, the attackers had already disappeared.

Presumably, this apartment belongs to a 79-year-old woman. She has already filed a police report, estimating the damage at 55,000 rubles. At the same time, neighbors told 78.ru that no one lives there now and that renovations are underway inside.

By the way, this is not the first case of tire fires in houses in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Therefore, it was assumed that the vandals were taking revenge on the cryptocurrency "baron" Petr Lunev and his supporters on the orders of Ukrainian blogger and journalist Anatoly Shariy. The accused has been in custody since February.

Earlier, 78.ru wrote that a man burned to death in a fire on Kollontai Street.
