The Russian Hydrometeorological Center has warned of abnormal weather conditions in the Samara Region. Forecasts show that average temperatures in the second ten days of October will be 2 degrees below the long-term average.
In addition, the new work week in the region will begin with December frosts. In some places, the thermometer readings will drop below minus 10 degrees. According to the Volga UGMS, on the night of October 14, the weather will be partly cloudy, no precipitation, the temperature will drop to minus 11 degrees. During the day, partly cloudy, no precipitation, east wind 5-10 m/s, temperature +5...+10 degrees.
The Samara region is currently under high arctic pressure, bringing with it dry and cold weather.
"Weak winds and fewer clouds will lead to additional cooling of the air masses at night and slight warming of the air under the rays of the autumn sun during the day," the forecaster explained.
