Bastrykin to be informed about emergency at Korenovsk psychiatric boarding school
In the city of Korenovsk, the interfloor ceiling of a building of a psychoneurological boarding school partially collapsed. According to preliminary data, an employee of the boarding school died as a result of the incident. The Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported that none of the patients of the medical institution were injured.
Based on this fact, investigative bodies opened a criminal case on the fact of manslaughter resulting in death.
The head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnodar Krai, Andrei Maslov, to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the current situation.
Let me remind you that on the night of October 13, the interfloor ceiling of the building of the psychoneurological clinic collapsed in Korenovsk. The collapse occurred on an area of more than 100 square meters. The body of a woman was found under the rubble. Photos and videos of the emergency situation were published.
According to the Krasnodar Territory Prosecutor's Office, the agency organized an investigation and monitored the progress and results of repair and restoration work.
