Which pensioners can receive a bonus for Soviet work experience

Lawyer Natalia Khurchakova spoke about how the Soviet experience is calculated, reports IA DEITA.RU.

As the expert explained, the key concept here is the so-called "valorization" or, more simply, revaluation. After undergoing this procedure, citizens with work experience before January 1, 2002, should receive additional benefits.

If you work during this period, your citizen's pension can be increased by 10%. In the case of the Soviet experience, that is, for service before 1991, additional payments are also provided, but in this case the pension increases by 1% for each year of service, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The basis for the revaluation is the calculated pension capital taking into account the length of service and the amount of earnings as of January 1, 2002. As the expert explained, this is due to the fact that the insurance premium has not yet been paid.

At the same time, the expert noted that the calculation of pension payments is carried out without citizens' requests. The Social Fund itself calculates the indicators for assigning pensions to citizens who worked before 2002 and before 1991.
