An emergency situation arose during the filming of the adaptation of the work by Alexander Tvardovsky in the Leningrad Region. The scenery collapsed, the actors were injured, and the cameras were damaged. As reported by the portal "47 News", the incident occurred while the actors were working on a retro train at a railway site in the village of Tolmachevsky in the Luzhsky District. Suddenly, the floor collapsed under the people, and they fell onto the street. The incident is known from URA.RU materials.
Director Karen Gevorkyan suggests that the collapse may have been caused by a resonance effect caused by the active behavior of people on the platform. Despite the fact that before the emergency, filming was taking place on the platform, in which many people participated, an accident suddenly occurred. According to him, the structure collapsed at a height of about 1.6 meters along with people.
As reported by 47news, this happened during the last filming, the last day of filming the movie based on the work by Alexander Tvardovsky was planned for October 13. The film will use footage shot in the fall and winter. Winter scenes were filmed until March 2023.
The press service of the Leningrad Region government reported that a stage collapsed during the filming of the movie "Vasily Terkin", and the number of victims has risen to 23. According to preliminary data, most of the victims received minor injuries, but one woman was hospitalized.
Among those injured during filming were minors. The children have bruises, but no fractures, film director Karen Gevorkyan told TASS. Chairman of the Leningrad Regional Health Committee Alexander Zharkov reported that 19 people have so far sought emergency care on their own, nine of them minors.
The participants of the film "Vasily Terkin" were shocked when the platform collapsed during work, the injured actress Sofia told 47news. "At first I thought: "Everything is fine. We tripped and fell. I thought: "Now we can all go out and do another take." But then I heard wild screams of adults and children from pain and shock," Sofia said.
Panic broke out on the set after the collapse, but the filming participants helped each other. The teenagers took the children from their mothers and ran away from the danger. The site was cordoned off, and only medical personnel were allowed access. Actress Sofia, who plays a refugee, later felt pain and did not immediately seek medical help.
