Blogger and ex-investigator Kachur became a foreign agent for receiving money from abroad
Blogger and former investigator Kirill Kachur (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) has been added to the register of foreign agents thanks to foreign funding. This was reported by TASS, citing court data.
The documents show that Kachur is under foreign influence and receives financial and intelligence support from abroad. In particular, the account of the company co-founded by the blogger received funding from Switzerland, the United States, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
In addition, Kachur has repeatedly published criticism of the actions of representatives of the Russian government on social media pages.
On November 3, 2023, the Russian Ministry of Justice included Kirill Kachur, a lawyer and former investigator of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region, in its register of foreign agents. He was engaged in disseminating false information about decisions of state authorities of the Russian Federation.
