Traffic in the St. Petersburg dam tunnel will be restricted for almost a week
Restrictions on movement have been introduced in the transport zone of the St. Petersburg Dam in the tunnel of the complex of protected structures. The period of validity is from October 14 to 18.
The KZS management has been warned about this. They explained that repair and restoration work will be carried out in the tunnel. Restrictions apply to each traffic lane.
In addition, the vehicle may be completely stopped at the entrance to the tunnel when the lifting equipment enters or exits. The dam administration promised that it will last no more than 10 minutes.
Drivers must follow posted signs, road markings, signs and barriers and obey speed limits. A bus crashed into six cars on the Ring Road dam, injuring three people.
As Delovoy Peterburg writes, on the night of November 2, exit No. 7 from the intersection of the Ring Road and Moskovskoe Shosse will be completely closed. The restrictions were necessary in connection with the construction of the Kupchino-Shushary-Slavyanka tram line. From the Zvezdnaya metro station, exit No. 12 from the highway towards the inner ring of the Ring Road is closed. Each pause period cannot exceed 10 minutes.
However, the repair of the Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge was completed. The day before, motorists were glad that all temporary restrictions on crossing were lifted. The asphalt on the overpasses and tunnels adjacent to the roads and bridge crossings was replaced. The reports were also updated. The concrete slab was restored and partially replaced. The drawbridge was covered with durable waterproof cast asphalt. After the repair was completed, new road markings were applied to the bridge.
