Russians are buying luxury cars more often
Since May 2024, Russia has seen record demand among buyers of premium cars, reports the DEITA.RU news agency.
According to Avtostat analysts, 14,063 new premium cars have been sold in the country since May. It is noteworthy that demand continues to increase in the fall. 77% of the cars sold are foreign cars of Chinese manufacture. Among the brands of cars sold, the leaders were EXEED, TANK, Lixiang and BMW.
Due to these market changes, the share of premium cars on the market began to increase. If in the summer it was 8.3-8.6%, then in the fall it reached 9.3%.
The interest of Russian motorists in premium foreign cars is explained by the fact that many are planning to buy real estate, but prices in this market are not falling, the terms of purchase are getting worse, so Russians are changing their plans and investing in expensive cars. New car. This trend is expected to continue over the next two years.
