Ministry of Internal Affairs: Parents of quad bike children in Uzbekistan face fines of up to $150

In Uzbekistan, parents of children involved in the quadrobels subculture can be fined up to 1.875 million soums (about $150) if they fail to pay child support, RIA Novosti reports, citing the republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Recently, videos of children wearing animal masks have been spreading rapidly on social networks (SNS) in Uzbekistan. One of them imitated a dog, attacked passersby and scared other children.

The Interior Ministry said such cases were a violation of public order rules.

Children born four times a year may also be prescribed psychological tests and support, the Ministry of Health press service added.

Quad-Banging is a popular subculture among children and teenagers that imitates the actions and behavior of animals. Many parents welcome outdoor games, believing that they distract children from using a smartphone.
