In Ufa, a gas explosion in a residential building resulted in two injuries
An elderly man and woman were injured in a gas explosion in an apartment in Ufa.
TASS reported that a domestic gas explosion occurred in a residential building on Ladygina Street in Ufa. As a result of the accident, two people were injured: a 66-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman. The man was hospitalized with burns, and the woman was also hospitalized with a shrapnel wound.
The gas exploded and caught fire, engulfing a second-floor apartment and damaging windows and doors. Rescue crews quickly arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire.
A gas explosion caused the entrance of a five-story building in Novosibirsk to collapse, while a domestic gas explosion occurred in a nine-story building in the Moscow region, forcing 40 people to evacuate, although no one was hurt, the Vzglyad newspaper reports. A gas explosion occurred in a building near Krasnoyarsk, injuring four people.
