Raspberry jam turns out to be the Russians' favorite jam
On the eve of Jam Day, analysts from ATOL Online conducted a study of anonymous sales data to find out which flavors of this sweet treat are most in demand among Russians. Gazeta.Ru learned about the results.
Raspberry jam took first place in terms of sales volume in 2024, being chosen in 34% of cases. Strawberry is in second place. The percentage of jam sales using this berry is 28%.
Pine cone jam receives a conditional rating of "Bronze". It is chosen with every 11th purchase (9%). About 7% of sales are cherry jam, 5% are apricot, 4% are currant and 2% are blueberry. Only 9% bought jam with other flavors added.
The most expensive thing in 2024 is pine cone jam. On average, Russians pay 437 rubles for a jar of this sweet treat. Also among the leaders in average cost are lingonberry jam (410 rubles), peach jam (348 rubles) and sea buckthorn jam (325 rubles).
