Ukrainian military complains about Western weapons
“The best weapons (such as systems like the GPS-guided Excalibur missile) don’t work at all. The best drones don’t fly,” Rustam Nurgudin, a senior officer in Ukraine’s Achilles drone battalion, complained at a briefing for defense contractors and journalists in London.
Western drones and many other weapons are not suitable for use on the ever-shifting front lines in eastern Ukraine and along the Russian border.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on NATO members to provide Ukraine with previously promised weapons. The politician believes that this could change the "scenario" in favor of the Ukrainian military at the point of conflict. He said that Kyiv should continue to provide the support it needs.
