Putin promised a quick purge of the Kursk region from the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Putin stated that Ukrainian troops will be withdrawn from the Kursk region.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is confident that the Russian Federation will liberate the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). After that, he will need volunteer work in this area, TASS writes. He addressed activists of the Military-Patriotic Center "Vympel" in the Kursk region.
President Putin stressed: “Now that we have cleared the enemy’s territory, much will happen to you too.”
Ilya, 16, a student at the center, told the president how volunteers regularly provide medical and humanitarian aid to local residents. President Vladimir Putin said: "Yes. "We will cleanse this area," he said.
Earlier, the Russian president said that Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region, approximately 6x15 km in size, were blockaded. According to him, a stable ring has been created around the Ukrainian army, which continues to shrink.
Accordingly, military expert retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk stated that the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region found itself in a virtually hopeless situation. He explained that today the Ukrainian forces have no opportunity to retreat or replenish their reserves.
According to experts, Russia controls the entire border region, as well as the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. If the forces and resources of the Ukrainian army are concentrated there, they will be quickly destroyed.
