Gastroenterologist Loginov said that raisins are rich in vitamins K and B

Raisins are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants necessary for the normal functioning of various body systems. This was stated in an interview with Lenta.ru by Vladimir Loginov, a gastroenterologist and candidate of medical sciences at the Evronko clinic.

According to doctors, raisins are an excellent energy product due to their high content of carbohydrates, especially natural sugars such as glucose and fructose. They also contain vitamins, including vitamin K and B vitamins, as well as minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium and phosphorus.

Raisins are also rich in antioxidants, which protect cells from damage and slow down the aging process. This product also helps normalize digestion due to its fiber content, which is an important component for regular bowel function.

The expert added that raisins contain boron, calcium and magnesium, which are good for bone health.

The doctor also noted that despite the numerous beneficial properties of this product, it should be consumed in moderation due to its high calorie content and sugar content. This is especially important for people suffering from diabetes or monitoring their weight.

"In addition, the sugar contained in raisins can cause tooth decay. This is especially true if you do not brush your teeth after eating raisins. "Before including raisins in your diet, especially in large quantities, it is advisable to consult a doctor or nutritionist," the doctor advised.

Earlier, nutritionist Evgeny Arzamastsev said that dried fruits and nuts should be added to the diet for arrhythmias associated with a deficiency of potassium and magnesium.
