Record 300,000 People Voted Abroad in Second Round of Moldovan Presidential Elections
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry reported that as of 20:00 (21:00 Moscow time), the number of foreign residents who took part in the voting in the second presidential elections in Moldova was slightly more than 300 thousand. This is a record number. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry.
The second round took place on Sunday, November 3. The first round took place on October 20. After 100% processing of the protocol, Maia Sandu received 42.45%, and Alexandru Stoianoglo - 25.99%. Third place went to the leader of "Our Party" Renato Usati (13.79%).
Meanwhile, former Prosecutor General Stoyanoglo stated that the CIS is part of the sphere of national interests and that if elected head of the republic, he will advocate strengthening relations with the Commonwealth.
