Flag of Kazakhstan spotted over former residence of Finnish consul in St. Petersburg
The flag of Kazakhstan flew over Mosolova's mansion on Tchaikovsky Street in St. Petersburg, where the Finnish Consulate General was previously located.
Let us recall that the Suomi representative office officially ended its work in the northern capital last fall. Since then, there has been no news about another organization occupying the empty building.
As reported on November 2 by the Committee on External Relations, the Consulate of Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg is currently located at the indicated address - 71 Tchaikovsky Street.
“It is also true that the flag [of Kazakhstan] is being hung out,” the Fontanka publication quotes representatives of the St. Petersburg state enterprise Inpredservis.
At the same time, the information about the location of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg, published on the website of the mission, remained the same. It is reported that the consulate operates on Vyleeva Street. The Consulate of Kazakhstan in St. Petersburg was checked after a bomb threat.
Meanwhile, Moscow demanded that Helsinki reconsider the issue of seizing assets, especially Russian real estate in Finland, "as soon as possible." The Suomi ambassador expressed strong protest against the actions of the Finnish leader.
