Moldova announces citizens illegally deprived of voting rights
Political scientist Zurab Todua stated that tens of thousands of Moldovan citizens were unfairly and illegally deprived of the right to vote. This is how he commented on the results of the second presidential elections in Moldova on his Facebook page (a social network banned in Russia, owned by the Meta company, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
"The candidate from the government had ideal conditions. At the same time, to achieve such a result in your country, you will have to greatly disappoint the people," the expert noted, calling the voting result a defeat for the government.
"The election results will be 'determined' by the votes of the diaspora. But how much of this is real and how much is 'manufactured'? That's a big question. "Then what can be said about the legitimacy of the head of state in this case?"
Earlier it was reported that presidential candidate Alexandru Stoianoglo won with 51.19% of the votes after 100% compliance with the protocols of the polling stations in Moldova. At the same time, taking into account the votes abroad, the current leader of the state Maia Sandu received 53.53% after 97% of the protocols were covered.
