Putin held a working meeting with the head of Bashkir Khabirov
During his visit to Ufa, the head of state Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.
At the meeting, Khabirov expressed gratitude to President Putin for the decision to hold the Russia-Sports Power forum in Bashkortostan. The governor noted the importance of the event and assured that unfinished sports facilities in the region will be completed.
Khabirov named support for special operations as the republic's main task. He recalled that there are already 11 Russian heroes in Bashkortostan. Officials emphasized that each region will help and support the SVO fighters and will do so until the very end.
Also during the conversation, the topic of restoring the armed forces of the participants of the Northern Military District, the agricultural and economic sectors was raised.
Let me remind you that President Putin arrived in Ufa to participate in the XII International Sports Forum "Russia - a Sports Power". The last visit of the head of state to Bashkiria took place in January 2023.
