New Scheme: Fraudsters Lure Russians with Big Investment Incomes
Moscow, October 18, FederalPress. Due to the increase in deposits, fraudsters have become more active in the financial investment sphere. They attract clients by offering investment products that provide a return of 30-50% over 6 months. This was warned by Georgy Gorshkov, Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors of VTB.
According to Georgy Gorshkov, VTB identified millions of suspicious transactions in the first half of 2024 alone. He emphasized that clients do not notice these checks, since additional security measures are performed automatically.
