Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev reported on the current achievements in the development of sports infrastructure. Since 2019, 549 sports facilities have been built, and another 47 are planned to be commissioned by the end of this year. Sprint", "I Choose Sports" and the social project "Gazprom for Children".

The President expressed confidence that through the joint efforts of the state, business and society, all the planned goals in the development of sports and physical culture in Russia will be achieved. This will not only improve the health and quality of life of citizens, but also strengthen the country's position in the international sports arena.

The plan is part of a wider government strategy to improve public health and encourage active lifestyles. It also reflects a growing understanding of the importance of sport not just for physical wellbeing but also for social cohesion and national pride.
