Washington Post: Major NATO countries have not changed their positions on Ukraine
An anonymous NATO diplomat said the alliance's core members' position on Ukraine's membership has not changed, the Washington Post reported.
According to the publication's interlocutors, no such changes are currently observed. He also added that the decision on Ukraine's membership in NATO may be made by the new US administration, but it will take some time.
At the same time, another official from a NATO member country told the publication that there are allies who are not yet convinced of the wisdom of inviting Ukraine. In his opinion, such a decision should not be expected before the end of the conflict with Russia.
