Kostroma Region Named Among Leaders in Implementation of National Projects
KOSTROMA, October 17, Federal Press. At a meeting of the Presidium of the Regional Development Committee chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the results of the implementation of the President's national and federal projects for the first nine months of 2024 were summed up. Kostroma Oblast was named among the leading regions in terms of achievement indicators, along with Tatarstan, Adygea, Bashkortostan, and others.
Marat Khusnullin noted that the Kostroma Region is successfully coping with the task, despite the limited economic conditions. Of the 19 territories being implemented in the region, 15 are located in reliable "green" zones. In particular, over 267.3 thousand square meters of houses were ordered in this region in the first nine months of 2024. Direct private houses were built 13% more than in the same period last year.
The progress of road construction was also discussed. As part of the national project "Safe Roads", asphalt laying work has been completed at 40 sites, the overall level of construction completion was 96%. Khusnullin emphasized the importance of achieving the goals set within the framework of current and future national projects, including "Infrastructure for Life".
Earlier, FederalPress wrote about support for patriotic education in the Kostroma region. According to the head of the region, Sergei Sitnikov, working with the younger generation based on patriotic values is a key task for Russian society as a whole.
