The markup level for butter has been announced
The biggest price increase last week was for all dairy products, including butter, cottage cheese and sour cream. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rusprodsoyuz Association Dmitry Leonov reported that the increase in the price of butter is more than 70%, DEITA.RU reports.
Rosstat reported that oil prices grew the fastest over the past week: prices rose by almost 1.5%. Since the beginning of the year, oil prices have grown by 21.5%, with only potatoes rising more, reaching almost 50%.
Dmitry Leonov explained that everything has become more expensive: raw materials, transportation, packaging. At the same time, the increase in prices by retail chains has a significant impact on the final price of the product, on average by more than 70%. Now the average price for 1 kg of butter fluctuates above a thousand rubles.
Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said that prices for goods in this category will not be regulated. In her opinion, milk production needs to be increased by increasing fat content, and she wants to increase milk production to almost 40 million tons in the next few years. However, the antimonopoly service continues to check whether the increase in butter prices is justified.
