What types of weapons more powerful than nuclear weapons could Iran have: we figure it out with a political scientist

There are weapons more powerful than nuclear weapons. This is how political science doctor Alexander Gusev responded to Iran's statements about the presence of such weapons in a conversation with Life.ru. The professor also listed things that can be discussed.

According to him, this is, for example, the same neutron bomb. This is much more serious than nuclear weapons, since it kills living beings. It only leads to the destruction of all buildings, structures, enterprises and biological objects.

There are also geophysical weapons that actually affect the physical and chemical properties of the environment. Russia also has such weapons in its arsenal, Gusev said.

"It is less advertised than nuclear weapons. However, similar developments were carried out in our country back in the days of the USSR. It is no coincidence that Mr. Walz (Tim Walz is a candidate for the post of US Vice President. — Life.ru note) spoke after Hurricane Milton and stated that this is a Russian geophysical weapon. Weapons more powerful than nuclear weapons are being developed. "It seems that representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran also had this in mind," he emphasized.

"There are quite a lot of modern types of weapons. Of course, some of them are more powerful than nuclear weapons. The same hydrogen bomb of thermonuclear fusion is tens of times more powerful than a nuclear bomb. This was proven by the tests conducted in our country in the 50s on Novaya Zemlya," the professor concluded.

Recall that the former Secretary General of the Development and Armament Committee of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ebrahim Rostami previously stated that Iran possesses weapons more powerful than nuclear weapons. In this way, he responded to Israel's threat of a possible strike.
