Comedian who left Russia called his new place of residence a paradise

Famous stand-up comedian Dmitry Romanov, who left Russia and lives in Portugal, called his new residence paradise. He spoke about this in a video available on YouTube.

Romanov said that he spent some time looking for a new country to live in after leaving Russia. "There were four candidate places: Georgia, Israel, England and Portugal," the comedian said. He said that he lived in each of the listed countries for a month to figure out his favorite places.

The comedian admitted that he fell in love with Madeira "immediately" upon arriving in Portugal and called the island his paradise. He added that his daughter Luna Maria was born in Portugal in the summer and received citizenship at birth. "And now we have a residence permit in Portugal," he concluded.

Earlier, Romanov humorously revealed his earnings throughout his career. “I have earned over $2 million in my comedy career,” the comedian said. He added that he used the income he earned from his work as a stand-up comedian to buy a car and real estate, as well as to visit several countries with his family.

Last February, the comedian announced his retirement from the comedy industry and entered the media business.
