Rosstat reported that over the past week, oil prices grew faster: prices rose by almost 1.5%. Since the beginning of the year, oil prices have grown by 21.5%, with only potatoes rising the most, reaching almost 50%.
Dmitry Leonov explained that everything has become more expensive: raw materials, transportation, packaging. At the same time, the increase in prices by retail chains has a significant impact on the final price of the product, on average more than 70%. Now the average price of 1 kg of butter fluctuates above a thousand rubles.
Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said that prices for products in this category will not be regulated. According to her, due to the higher fat content, it is necessary to increase milk production and in the coming years she wants to increase milk production to almost 40 million tons. However, the antimonopoly service continues to check whether the increase in prices for butter is justified.
